On April 2 group of 25 young people from Italy, Latvia, Spain, Lithuania and Slovakia started the Erasmus+ youth exchange project “Florence Urban Jungle”.
In the very morning youngsters got to know each other, had an ice-breaking activities and were introduced to the project idea, plan, rules and team members.
After a lunch participants together with a project leader went outside to explore the city of Florence. On the way to Old town they were passing by different historical places, for example, The Botanical garden of Florence.
The main goal of a trip to city centre was beautiful and the most famous Italian park – Boboli Gardens and Palatina Gallery. Participants had a tour through the park and afterwards attended an excursion through galleries of art of different historical times.
On the way to beautiful and ancient park participants also visited Florence`s Duomo – the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.
The day was finished with intercultural night where participants could enjoy traditional melas, drinks and music of other countries.
